My typical roles, past and present, have included:

Researcher & Scholar. I am active in various areas of basic and applied research, such as design science, design theory, systems design, design computing, human-computer interaction (HCI), user experience (UX), interaction design (IxD), 3D modeling, interactive computer graphics, data sciences, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI).
Technologist & IT Specialist. I have varied interests in technology, including but not limited to interactive tools, systems, cloud platforms, big data, databases, data science(s), AI/ML, blockchain, 3D modeling, simulation, 3D graphics, and Smart City/Digital Twins paradigms.
Designer. I am interested in various disciplines of design, such as system design, cloud platform design, interface design, interaction design, environmental design, industrial product design, and service design.
Educator & Mentor. I possess significant experience in teaching graduate and undergraduate courses at universities in the United States and Canada, as well as in mentoring technologists, students, and researchers.
