A Novel AI-Powered GUI With MCPPermalink

This is an experimental interface for 3D modeling powered by AI. The workspace combines an AI chat assistant with the Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing users to interact with their 3D models and various external tools in one place.

The AI chat panel is the main hub. Users can type natural language commands or questions, and the AI immediately retrieves or edits information from different sources, including the scene graph manager.

The interface offers four interaction modes:

  • No AI: Standard manual control, no AI assistance.
  • Ask AI: Users request help or information from the AI as needed.
  • Inline suggestions/autocomplete: The AI provides live suggestions or auto-completes user actions.
  • Agent AI: The AI takes a more active, autonomous role in assisting the user.
